Home Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Emily Ribley to Vice President for Relationship and Lending Performance.

Emily's promotion reflects nearly 20 years of dedication, leadership, and professional growth at Home Bank. Since joining the bank in 2006 as a teller while attending college, she has built a career centered on serving customers, strengthening relationships, and embracing new opportunities.

Throughout her career, Emily has served in a variety of roles, including teller, assistant branch manager, collections representative, and mortgage lender. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer in the Greenwood market, helping individuals and families navigate important financial decisions and achieve their homeownership goals.

While her role has evolved over nearly two decades, her passion for people and relationships has remained the foundation of her success.

What began as daily customer interactions eventually developed into long-lasting relationships that followed her throughout her career.

"Little did I know those small interactions would turn into long-lasting relationships through multiple avenues, including daily banking and later helping customers buy or refinance a home," she said.

In her new role, Emily will focus on strengthening customer relationships, supporting lending initiatives, and helping drive continued growth across the organization. Her broad banking experience, customer-focused approach, and commitment to serving others make her well-positioned for this opportunity.

Melissa Fisher, Chief Operating Officer, said Emily's growth within the organization and natural ability to connect with people have made her an ideal fit for the position.

"I've had the privilege of watching Emily develop through multiple stages of her career, and what has always stood out to me is her commitment to continuous learning, her genuine care for people, and her ability to build strong relationships with both customers and coworkers," said Melissa. "She has never been afraid to step into a new challenge, and each experience has helped shape her into the leader she is today."

Melissa added that Emily's firsthand experience across many areas of the bank gives her a unique understanding of Home Bank's customers, employees, and culture.

"She leads through collaboration, encouragement, and a desire to help others succeed," Melissa said.

Emily's commitment to growth extends beyond her day-to-day responsibilities. She is a graduate of Martinsville High School and Ivy Tech Community College, where she studied business administration. Throughout her career, she has continued to invest in her professional development, graduating from the Indiana Bankers Association Mortgage Lending School, the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association Future Leaders Program, and the Morgan County Leadership Academy. She also earned a Certificate of Achievement through Southwestern Consulting's Top Producer's Edge Program.

Beyond her work at Home Bank, Emily remains actively involved in the community. She serves on the Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County Family Selection Committee and was recognized as the 2016 Business Professional of the Year by the Greater Martinsville Chamber of Commerce.

As she reflects on her journey, Emily is quick to credit the people who helped shape her career along the way.

"My journey wouldn't be what it is without the mentors I've had at the bank and our leadership team, who have always believed in me and continued to give me opportunities," said Emily.

Looking ahead, she is excited to continue learning, collaborating, and serving Home Bank customers in new ways.

"What excites me most about this new role is the opportunity to expand my banking knowledge and continue growing professionally," she said. "I'm also looking forward to collaborating more closely with coworkers across all areas of the bank, building stronger relationships, and gaining a deeper understanding of how we can work together to best serve our customers."
