Employment Opportunity: Courier

SUMMARY

The Courier reports directly to the Administrative Services Manager. This position is responsible for picking up and delivering interoffice mail between the branches and picking up deposits from customers and bringing them to the bank.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collect all interoffice mail on a daily basis between the branches.

  • Assist with the sorting, delivery and posting of outgoing and incoming mail.

  • Inspect the employee parking lot, and areas surrounding the bank’s buildings and ATM

    and remove trash and other debris as needed on a daily basis.

  • Deliver supplies to branches from Main Office inventory as requested.

  • As needed, assist with the stocking of supplies, snow removal, and purchasing of

    miscellaneous supplies from local businesses.

  • Provide pick up and return service of deposits for commercial customers.

  • As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in

    the support of other bank activities.

  • Fulfill compliance requirements as directed by the Bank including those of the Bank

    Secrecy Act.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Outdoor work may be necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 lbs.

TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years customer service experience preferred

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Computer competencies
